This centre had information about the history and ethos of Nimbin. The ideals may be a remnant of a bygone era, but some may be revived in the future. There are politically correct souvenirs and locality information from friendly staff.

Like a lot of tourism information officers, we found the lady here helpful and pleasant. Told us of good walks in the area and advised us of the one place we could take our dog.

With it's notoriety Nimbin gets a lot of visitors. And therefore a small tourist information centre is justified. This one has a number of information boards for you to learn a little of the history of the town and a lot of tourist knick-knacks to buy. Effectively that's it. The staff have always been friendly whenever I've been there and... More

Like everything in Ninbin the visitor centre is full of nick nacks and hand made curios from the area that can be purchased by visitors. Ninbin is a small town on the far coast on NSW that was invaded by hippies in the 70s when it was cool to drop out of the business word and live more laid back... More

Fascinating place. I hadn't been there for 20 years and it didn't really feel any different now. Very friendly locals, but just a bit different. Loved the collection of paraphernalia all around the town. Great for a break from the coast, beautiful scenery on the way, and a splash of colour once you arrived there.
