The village has everything you need for a day or week on the snow. Clothing, food, drink, souvenirs. It's obviously a tad more expensive than buying off the mountain, but it's a beautiful friendly place. Directly across from the snowfields to ski, board or play....More

Thredbo is the place to be if you like skiing and snowboarding. Plenty of classes to chose from while on vacation.

Quite hot time in this part of Australia in Winter = Australian Summer, but still you will enjoy it.

Snow in the mountains... No not quite June generally sees the first snowfalls. My wife told me yesterday that walkers in the Snowies were being cautioned about fires! Enjoy the mountains tho! Cheers Roger
