Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Food great, easy to get around and very, very pretty. Highly recommend it for a summer getaway.

Nice village to visit and walk around in, some pleasant shops, more upmarket than Perisher. Nice atmosphere when there is snow

I will definitely go again. A completely different environment. Like a lush garden with beautiful snowgums and rocks. I would like to go when the wild flowers are in full bloom. Lots to explore.

If you can afford to stay in the village during ski season, there's no other better place to experience Australia's snowfields. There are lots of places to stay and eat. Also great summer activities for families.

A really well maintained sweeping road takes you to Thredbo from Jindabyne and it is no effort to drive there. The village offers many choices for food, even in summer and the walking tracks are really well marked.

Quaint little place. It wasn't what we expected but eventually found a place to drink and eat that wasn't too expensive. Getting a feed can be a problem, so book ahead, if they allow you to.

If you want to be sure of good snow, go in July or August. There's nothing more disappointing than arriving for your holiday to find bare ground. It will certainly cost you less to go in June but it's a false economy if... More
