One of the top 10 Gardens of the world there are visitors here from all corners of the earth. Plenty of parking with shuttle services to the main entrance. There is always something going on. A quarter of a million tulips are now in bloom. There is a meadow garden, indoor and outdoor children's garden, treehouse, topiary garden, Italian water... More

I brought a bus of garden club members to visit, many for the first time. It was a bitter cold and windy day so we did not take full advantage of the extensive grounds. The conservatory was redolent the moment you stepped into the verdant Orchid Extravaganza. The spectacle of it all stopped visitors in their tracks as they viewed... More

We're members of Longwood Gardens, so we're prejudiced. That being said, this is one of the world's most beautiful venues. We just went on the first sunny day we've recently had. Late tulips were in bloom, and were awesome. Orange poppies were other worldly. The Foxglove walk was the best we've ever seen. The Conservatory, with unreal orchids, succulents, and... More

Loved every part of this place. Wished we could have seen it later in the spring with more outside blooms but the 4 acres conservatory made up for it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ask them to show you the 17 new bathrooms otherwise you may miss a good sight! I enjoyed this more than the Botanical gardens in... More

I would say its the best way to start your summer outings. Tulips looks awesome and garden view is jaw dropping. It is very well maintained. Main fountain show looks awesome. Dont forget to see the botanical garden created indoors (Conservatory).... You would need a complete day to spend, in case you are planning to visit most of the attractions... More

I loved visiting Longwood Gardens. It is so massive, beautiful, and peaceful. I especially appreciated the topiaries. When we went, the garden was in full bloom with flowers of all different colors. I also thought that the pipe organ was very beautiful and intriguing. Not as much color in the hothouse that I can remember, but the greenery was abundant... More

Went hre with a friend who has been many times before. the gardens are spectacular - we visited at tulip time - and I'm sure they change with every season. The fountains were being refurbished but I'm sure they'll be just as awesome. Excellent cafe and reasonably priced. These gardens are well worth a detour

I've been here many times, but we went at Christmas and it was more magical than ever. First, I applaud their ticket-purchasing methods. Purchase online, and hand your phone to the gate to scan the tickets. Easy-peasy. You're given a time to arrive so that the gardens are overrun at any one time (I can imagine Christmas is one of... I would rate this above 5. What a great place to spend the day. Lots of walking trails for bird watching. Several flower gardens, fountains, the mansion, tree houses, and the indoor conservatory. The conservatory is filled with seasonal flowers, orchids, cactus, palms. There’s plenty to see for the whole. A photographer’s paradise. Very good café with a variety of... More

Lovely, colorful, varied displays. Large grounds. Relaxing way to spend a few hours. Both indoor and outdoor displays. Ample parking, with free shuttle service as needed. You can buy tickets in advance online.
