We have visited Kennett Square twice and both times our friends have graciously arranged for us to visit Longwood Gardens. Once in May we saw fireworks and a fountain display that was magnificent. On the most recent trip, we focused on the conservatory and the Christmas displays. Unfortunately, we were not able to return at night to see the light... More

The Gardens are marvelous! I live about two hours away, but still keep buying a membership every year. The grounds are meticulously maintained, the landscape is extremely well done, the fountains are amazing, and the special programs are just unique! Definitely worth visiting! It is such a treat for people who appreciate the nature and plants.

My wife and I went there in md-December to view the light display and go through the conservatory. As expected, it was very crowded, but the advanced ticket purchase worked very well. Walking around the light display was great. The staff have done an excellent job putting up and maintaining all of the light sets. The train display was also... More

Longwood Gardens is spectacular at any time of the year but especially at Christmastime. It's as magical for adults as it is for small children and every other age group. It's the perfect family outing; I was mesmerized every step of the way. The restaurant 1906, while pricey, is also fantastic. I've visited during tulip time and saw nightscape in... More

Very large gardens with picturesque gardens, we loved it. It was quite a bit of walking if that is a problem you may need some assistance.

My wife and I visited this garden during their "Christmas at Longwood" light event. Wow! With over 500,000 thousand lights and over 100 Christmas trees around the garden it was something to see. That's the good news. The bad news is because it is so great, there are large crowds like the night we were there. Do see this but... More

I was behind the scenes regarding a businees demonstration. Was offered to take a stroll through the park on my own afterward. I must get back there, its beautiful.

We took my parents and they were amazed at all the beautiful flowers, A Lot of walking, but it is worth it. I would recommend going in the spring. Winter time is a little bit too cold for me to take the time to really enjoy everything.

Grapefruit trees bearing fruit in January? Christmastime is magical. Bonsai display will captivate your imagination. Go!
