We went to the Mennonite information center to learn more about the Mennonites. I had been doing some work on my family tree and found some ties to the Lancaster area. There are also opportunities to get a tour of the Amish Country.

No, the Mennonite Information Center does not offer ancestry services. The building beside them houses the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society, and they have resources for doing ancestry research.

The guide will advise you when you can take photos and when you can't. The Amish don't approve of photos of themselves, but if you are far enough away it might be all right.
