We were pleasantly surprised that there were not long waiting periods for rides on Memorial Day weekend. Our kids ranged in ages from 6-10, and this place was perfect for them. The rides were doable for all. The food prices were high, but that's the only con. The walk from the parking was close without paying the extra fee for... More

The park is action packed with fun for children in the 3-9 age range. The shows were entertaining, the staff were polite and attentive. However lunch was highly disappointing. I do hate that food is banned from being taken inside the park yet I am expected to feed my family the inedible and unhealthy slop that is served at the... More

During our Lancaster trip we spent a few hours at Dutch Wonderland. It had some unique rides like a monorail and a gondola. Very kid friendly for young children. Many of the rides were not in operation for some reason and it is undergoing some construction at this time for a new ride. The island with dinosaurs was fun to... More

I took my five year old daughter to Dutch Wonderland and it is the perfect place for kids who may be slightly too young to get the most out of Hersheypark or Six Flags. The rides appear to be aimed at a 2-7 year old audience. There are thrill-type rides, but there are also many tamer rides for kids who... More

Dutch Wonderland is a great family fun place. It's definitely for families with younger kids, like 8 and under. While anyone can have fun no matter the age, older kids who want large roller coasters and thrilling rides will have to look elsewhere. But in general, it's a great amusement park with lots of fun things to do. My kids... More

Before going to bigger amusement parks, bring your kids to Dutch Wonderland for a fun and enjoyable experience. Going to amusement parks can be very overwhelming, all the rides, all the crowd. Dutch Wonderland has a nice park and clean surrounding. Like most of the amusement parks, people are not allowed to bring in food. No worries! There are plenty... More

Our family feels so lucky that our son got to grow up near this place where a summer pass is both affordable and worthwhile. One of my favorite memories was how the conductor of the train that circles the park (an older gentleman) always waved to my son when we were walking by. Sweet employees here are all over. When... Park was nice and clean and rides were good for my toddler. Food was outrageously priced and they don't let you take food or drinks in. Glad our tickets were free due to our idlewild park passes. General tickets are way over priced for what's there.

I first visited Dutch Wonderland as a child and now have taken my Iowa grand-girls there three of the past four years. The old memories are faded black and white, Polaroid photos and the new memories are colorful iPad photos/videos but the joyous smiles are consistent. The park is (still) a clean, safe, and enjoyable experience for multi-generational families and... More

This is an adorable little amusement park for little kids. I would say that it is best for ages 2-6, but younger children and sightly older may enjoy it as well.
