I've been here a few times, with my spouse and bringing groups of people. This is an excellent visual representation of the Hebrew Tabernacle that was a part of Israel's faith during their early years under Moses until Solomon built the Temple in Jerusalem. The Tabernacle and the worship that occurred there is foundation to the worlds three great monotheistic... More

This is a very unique place to visit. We did the tour and our guide was very pleasant and informed and answered all questions pertaining to the time period. Smaller children may not get much out of it but the older teens should. It's something different and historical. A great place to visit especially if you seek to learn more... More

The reproduction of Biblical Tabernacle let you experience what it is described in Old Testimonies. The lecture tours explain the construction, history and significance of this symbolic dwelling place of the Lord among His people.

Went there on a church trip quite a few years ago- was very informative and good to see a visual of how things worked in the Biblical temple. However, gift shop as usual is a tourist rip off.

The lady who gave the presentation and tour of the Hebrew Tabernacle was very thorough! The presentation lasted about 45 minutes. There was time for questions and answers afterwards. I have visited here about half a dozen times, beginning in 1981. If you interested in Old Testament studies, it is a 'must see'. There are also interesting films about the... More

This is located at the Mennonite Information Center on Route 30 in Lancaster. There is information and displays about the local culture and the Mennonite and Amish faiths. There is also a reproduction of the Biblical Tabernacle the Israelites transported in the wilderness. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the tabernacle and how it was transported... More

This is located in the Mennonite information center. Would definitely recommend this to someone looking to learn about the Mennonite and Amish.

Elsie was our guide, and her enthusiasm was contagious. She did a wonderful job of bringing the tabernacle to life. There is also lots of good info about the difference between the Amish and Mennonites. It's also centrally located near other attractions, so it's definitely worth popping in for a visit.

This is good but for a more mature crowd or for persons studying about the early Christian or Jewish religion. My children could not wait for it to be over.
