The bus ride was good and our driver very informative. We wouldn't have stopped at the homes he did nor see the stuff the Amish make and sell.

We took the full 33 hour tour and felt like it gave us a great understanding of the Amish culture. The curator was knowledgeable, funny and answered all your questions. The walking self tour was nice because it wasn't packed with people so you can stroll at your own pace and enjoy the animals and scenery. There are a few... More

We got the combination ticket. A van tour of some Amish farms and areas, and also a tour of the house/farm. Takes 2.5 - 3 hours. We were surprised how good it as given that when we arrived at there, it appeared to be a touristy activity, but the tours were spot on. Would recommend.

Our family of 6, including 4 teenagers, visited the Amish Farm and House, and took the Amish Farm and House Tour, as well, with close family friends and their 9 and 7-year old boys. To this day, all of the kids, regardless of age, bring up this experience as a favorite memory of theirs. The 90-minute, small tour is hosted... More

This is a perfect example of how progress can hurt a major site. The place itself is really nice and talks about the Amish farms. The problem is Target made a shopping center right next to the museum ruining it's totally aesthetic effects. It is unbelievable to see this beautiful place next to a big shopping center and it's a... More

We took their premium package which included a guided tour of the house and self tour of the farm. The package also included a 90 minute bus tour. That proved to be very enjoyable and informative. The house tour is not recommended for small children, however the bus tour is good for the entire family.

We had a good experience here. The staff was very cordial and helpful. We learned about the Amish and their practices during the farmhouse tour. We enjoyed touring the farm grounds (on our own). We did not take the bus tour because of time but wish we had been able to.
