We live close to Merrymead and it is by far our favorite ice cream. But even our family in Florida had declared this the best. They insisted that we stop in while they were visiting recently, even though the temperature was only about 25 degrees outside! We also love their fresh milk. On a nice day, it's great to be... Merrymead is a wonderful, friendly family run business. We go often to pick up milk, ice cream or other dessert. We've bought pumpkins and other fresh produce as well a gift items. When we have visitors with children, we'll stop in to see the animals. We've patronized this business for more than 30 years.

We love their ice cream and their pies are out of this world! We don't remember a better fruit pie anywhere! And there aren't many places where you can buy milk (and cream, etc.) that's farm-fresh! We also like purchasing local fruit and vegetables in season, and feel good that we're helping to support local farms.

I've been here at least 100 times. I've stopped for fresh produce, holiday decorations, quick ice cream cone for the road, hayrides, see and talk to the animals. We even were there when a calf was born! You can even stop here to get fresh pies and cakes, frozen top quality meats and pastas, a hot dog for lunch, and... More
