Visited for Christmas shopping, and was able to find some unique gifts not seen anywhere else locally. Specifically, was able to get a custom made Christmas ornament with a picture of my son's dog. Reasonably priced as a custom ordered, hand painted gift!

Large selection of local produce and meat as well as many locally made products. There is very little that you can't get here. You can get virtually any kind of produce or meat, fish, or poultry at this market and avoid going to the grocery store if you wish. Many vendors also have prepared foods. There are also a number... When visiting a living in Harrisburg area for number of years I was introduced to this wonderful market. Years before I lived in metro Philadelphia and was a mainstay at the Reading Market. In size and scope Reading is much larger but West Shore Farmers Market has wonderful shopping opportunities. The only have one seafood market and one cheese vendor... More

I was a little disappointed in this market. I expected more local produce. I think there was only one produce stand. There was a local (York) vineyard, several Deli's, a bakery, candy stand and several restaurant vendors. We ate at the pizza place and it was GREAT pizza. We will be back for the pizza.

This is a great market with lots of variety. You can get a meal, fresh produce and meat, baked goods, flowers and candy. The soft pretzels are so good! There are also some great specialty shops upstairs.

Fine if you're going for lunch, but if you're buying produce, fish and just about everything else, you're going to pay high prices. Root's Market in East Petersburg has more variety and much lower prices, so if you're dollar conscious stay away from West Shore.

A family tradition for decades has been to stop by the Farmers Market to pick up fresh fruit, meats, pastries...and you have to try the Pho Soup at the little Chinese Restaurant. It is the best we have ever had. Fruit smoothies are always a hit, too. Love this place!

Very nice place to shop and eat. A little pricier than outdoors markets due to the vendors rent. Also a lot of nice shops upstairs.

We went to buy some family party goods, and found many tasty products by several friendly vendors. With such a varied, yet similar, selection of vendors, you are sure to buy something delicious or unique. Our family and guests all raved about the chicken salad, tuna salad and BBQ pulled pork we all enjoyed. Fresh meats abound as well, and... More
