While searching for a place to do snowtubing, I found this place to be the best as unlike others, one has to pay only 1 time for snowtubing without any time limit restriction. One can do the tubing at his own pace. All other places near DC had a 2 hr time slot and you are done. So this was... More

Always have a fun time skiing here with my friends in Harrisburg. Not the greatest or most challenging skiing ever, but lots of variety. Good for beginners and experts. Also they have a great package that includes lessons. We'll always come here when in the area, typically for night ski.

Roundtop (owned by Snowtime) and its sister hills of Liberty and Whitetail do a great job with the three most important things for mid-Atlantic ski hills . . . snowmaking and customer service and taking advantage of the hill. All three places work hard to keep a nice cover of machine made snow on their hard packed (and sometimes icy)... More

I decided to take two of my grandkids skiing for a "Snow Day". Granted the weather has been warm, snow has melted but the resort promoted two days of snowmaking while we have some cold weather. The lack of snow on the 2/3 of the slopes open was no surprise. The shocker was the charge for a 4 hour lift... More

Thank you for bringing your grandkids to us - our lift prices rarely change, even when we begin to open our slopes. Interestingly, instruction has picked up at the end of February, beginning of March. People learning to ski seem to prefer more mild temperatures! More

Went with my kids for the first time ski lessons. My kids loved the lessons and really enjoyed their time at the resort. It was a perfect place to start their skiing adventure. Staff is very helpful and flexible. Will definitely come again once the snow begins to fall!

Went to Roundtop last weekend to go snow tubing. It was wonderful. Still had two lanes open on the tubing slope and we had a great time.

I highly recommend the 4th and 5th grade ski pass! I came with my 9 year old and we had a blast skiing the beginner slopes and taking a lesson. Conditions were good and the ski instructors were awesome. Bring your own food and drink. My only complaint was the prices were ridiculous. Period. Charging almost $4 for a bottle... More

Thank you for sharing your review! The 4th and 5th grade program is a great deal. skipa.com is where others can sign up. It's a statewide program, not specific to Roundtop. As for the food prices - we absolutely do allow space for people to bring in their own food and drinks. More

My husband & I brought our 8 year old to Roundtop for the tubing. It was really a great trip. The weather this year has been unseasonably warm, so in the weeks leading up to our trip we were worried it'd be a bust. Then we realized they "make" their own snow for skiing and tubing. Last year we lived... More

Thank you for your post. There's nothing I can add...you summed it up well! Tubing is great, we make our own snow, and it's best when it's colder! Hope to see you again, another time of year! :) More

I hate rating Roundtop poorly because truly we love Roundtop. Our daughter has done the Summer Camps two years in a row and loved it. We have also skied here for four years since we moved here. Our kids have taken the regular lessons which are fantastic. So, our oldest daughter is in the Mountain Explorers, we were sadly disappointed.... More

Family of 5- kids 13, 9, 5 Tubing on a Friday (we went 12:30-7:30 PM) was excellent. Lots of lanes means no wait! Best part, one price to play all day! Here is some good to know advice: Temp was 41 and sunny went we arrived- I suggest trying to go when it's less than 35 out to avoid slush. They... More

Thank you for your review! I appreciate you taking the time to write! You summed up the tubing experience well! Often as the temps drop throughout the day, the tubing slopes do get firmer and the experience gets faster. And, as you noticed, the bottom of the tube also makes a difference! Thanks for your staff kudos as well! More
