This place was absolutely off of the grid. Back road with some snow to get to in February. The lady that owns the place was very personable. She was friendly and explained how they started the winery. Her husband spent 10 years in the area growing the grapes and understanding the process. By the time when they opened the winery... More

The owner was very friendly, and told us how her & her husband live totelly off the grid. They grow 80% of their own grapes. I bought a bottle of sweet cherry wine. I am going to save it for a special occasion.

Neat operation out in the country. They live off the grid! Propane lamps, Solar power etc. The wine was tasty and the owner very knowledgeable and friendly.

Owner was doing the tastings! Interesting and different wines, She was knowledge and fun. It appears that they are very eco friendly, solar lighting and eco-conscience in their process

Can't say anything about the sweet or semi-sweet ones as I didn't try them. Owner very personable and knowledgeable. Taught us all... More

I'm a HUGE fan of their catawba grape wine, and the last that I tasted was their 2006 Catawba. It's absolutely wonderful. If you are ever in the area (or are visiting for the Groundhog Day festival), make it a point to stop by here and pick up a bottle of wine. The property is beautiful, and it's nestled out... More
