First visit was more than expected. Came to see the Insect Sculptures with my granddaughter which we loved. Then we enjoyed the tree houses and goats and the serenity and beauty of the arboretum.

Beautiful, well cared for grounds. Great for a family stroll. Butterfly gardens, tree houses, outdoor sculptures, picnic areas were just a few of the things we saw. Everything was clearly marked and signage explained the significance.

We were overwhelmed by the constant noise from commercial lawnmowers on site. Tyler needs to cut grass only before opening or after closing when visitors are absent. We posted the same complaint about the NC Arboretum. We were there on a Friday, and left early...More

Some of the paths are paved, some are grassy. I, too, have difficulty walking having been hit by a car a year ago and have a rod in my tibia and ligaments replaced in the other knee. I just went slowly and didn't have any... More
