Definitely one of my favorite places to spend time with the family. From hiking and biking on the trail when they were young, to rafting the Upper Yough now, I never tire of Ohiopyle. The town is beautiful, the scenery is majestic, the campground is meticulous. Any skill or thrill level will find themselves glad they went.

Beautiful park! Stayed and the state park campground memorial day weekend while hiking and paddling. Great weather, tons to see and do. Recommend hiking the great gorge trail and seeing cucumber falls. Camp ground was full but nice not overly crowded.

I loved this park. Excellent hiking (including not too rigorous hiking) where you get to hike to waterfalls. I was there for a holiday weekend, but it wasn't too crowded. If you like camping, the park's campground was clean and accessible. The water spigots are broken though so bring your own drinking water.

Ohiopyle is pretty great as far as State Parks go. It has more to offer than most. There's a quaint "camp town" directly across from the rapids and Visitors Center. There's giftshops, general stores, fishing/hunting stores, canoe/kayak/raft sales and rentals, park/rapids tours, hiking trails, restaurants, rivers/rapids, wildlife, campgrounds, picnic areas and Cucumber Waterfalls are in walking distance. I think my... More

These fall's here are breath taking. The water was a little high and I am glad. What a great view. They have so much to do in that area. Great foods and r acting. Great place.

We visited this park while on a trip to falling waters. This is a nice park you can walk on the trails and shop in a few little stores. worth it if you have the time.

Love camping here. So much to do. From hiking to biking to rafting to waterfalls. There are also great food places in town if you get tired of cooking on the fire.

The Youghiogheny (Yaw-ki-gay-nee) River rushes through the beautiful southwestern Pennsylvania mountains, creating a terrific setting for amazing whitewater rafting in a spectacular setting. In addition to the excellent river experiences, there are miles and acres of fabulous mountain trails and waterfalls to explore.

Spent 3 days and 2 nights inside one of the Kentuck yurts in Ohiopyle, PA (state park, campground). The yurt was very comfy, had everything we need: refrigerator, small stove top, and a microwave. Furniture consisted of a dinette, twin bunkbeds, and a full/ twin bunkbed. We stayed at site 31. The restroom was right across the site from us.... More
