This is a great tour if you really want to experience a working farm. The kids will especially like this because there are lots of hands-on activities. We took the 90 minute tour for $16 each. We got to milk a cow and feed some new born calves and feed the chickens and ride on a wagon out to the... More

Excellent fun! Enjoy the outdoors, meet the cats & kittens, Scooby the ball-fetching dog, feed the calves, meet the princess-named pigs, check for fresh eggs in the chicken coop, get some fresh country air! Another tour includes ice-cream tasting!

We went on the working farm tour. The staff was very friendly. Scooby (their dog) was really cute and brings you rocks to throw for him. It was nice to milk the cows and feed the calves. Farm cats and kittens were cute and friendly too.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The experience started in the barn where we were given an overview of the farm. The children were able to crawl through some haystacks. After the barn, we boarded the wagon. The wagon ride was a bit disappointing, because we didn't go far at all. We did see Thomas the train ride by,... More

We had a wonderful time at Verdant View Farms this past weekend. We did the Farmer Apprentice. We had 3 kids ages 3,5, and 11 years old with us. It was extremely informative and fun. We fed and picked up Chickens, Bottle fed Baby Cows, Fed pigs, Milked a Cow, Fed a Cow, played with Bunnies, Learned about the land,... More

When we arrived we went to the silo and our tour guide told us we could wait by the tree and swing. Well over there were bunnies and cats and the most adorable little kitten! There was also a very friendly dog named scooby who loved to play ball, he even followed along on our tour! He's a great dog.... More

Took trip with my mother and three young kids (6 yr, 4 yr and 13 month old). Beautiful scenery! This place is clean for a farm yet has an authentic experience. You get to milk a real cow, they had 8 baby cows that you could give a bottle to, adult cows you can feed, pigs, rabbits, cats, chickens, friendly... More

Our family participated in the farmer's apprentice package on 7/17 and we loved it. Kids got to feed goats, milk cows, pick up eggs, ride on a tractor and learn so much about living on a farm. A great two hour experience for the family...highly recommend visiting. Will go back!

This is a working farm where on the tour you feed goats, milk a cow, feed a baby cow, and explore the grounds on a wagon pulled by a tractor (and you play catch with a dog). A pleasant experience, and fun for the kids

our party of 4 ( wife, 10 and 8 year old ) was greeted when we stepped out of the car by a friendly dog with a ball in his mouth who wanted to play catch. Later we found out his name was Scooby and he was a lot of fun to be around, he joined us throughout the whole... More
