We were a party of 5 on an unusually warm February day. Gina was our guide. She was engaging and knowledgeable. Loved Salonika's Imports. All 4 restaurants were good and their food tasty. Some of the owners were a bit shy but were so nice. Three of us live here and definitely need to come back to the area for... More

Brookline tour exceeded our expectations. What an awesome experience. Our tour guide, Karyn, was outstanding! Delicious food, great tid bits of history from this charming neighborhood. We look forward to attending all of the tours in the future. Highly recommended! We had a wonderful time!

The food tour of Bloomfield featured five wonderful stops where we got to sample Italian foods like pizza, appetizers, biscotti, and penne with meatballs. All were great hosts with good food, especially the homemade Italian grocery store, Groceria Italiana. Richard did an amazing job of not only telling us about the food, but he also gave history of the area... More

Our tour guide, Richard, was awesome! He integrated stories about the Strip District as we strolled through tastings...I was not expecting a history or architectural lesson, but thoroughly enjoyed all that he shared! As for the tastings, I could not eat all that was offered and took some home! I loved the personal touch of the store owners talking with... More

My husband and I received this gift from our son and daughter in law at their rehearsal dinner for our parent gift. It was a real treat! We went to the Bloomfield Little Italy tour. The food was delicious. We lived in Pittsburgh our whole lives and never knew the gem that was so close to us!

Whether you are visiting, new to the Burgh or have lived in the area your entire life, this tour is a must! We learned so much about Lawrenceville while meeting new people and tasting foods from a variety of local restaurants. It's a great way to get a taste of a new area - heard so much about the revival... More

Burgh Bits and Bites Food Tours are definitely worth the time and money. My friends and I wanted to do something different in Pittsburgh. All of us have either lived in the city or nearby and so we have done most of the usual "Pittsburgh" things. We had experienced food tours in Manhattan and Brooklyn so a web search to... More

We went on the Strip District food tour with Richard. Growing up in Pittsburgh, we didn't think there was much more to learn. Boy were we wrong! Richard was exceedingly knowledgeable, and we saw a great mix of different local eateries. We had a great time! Not too much walking is involved, so it's really great for anyone!

Our "Strip District" Tour with Sylvia and Marcus was terrific! We met at St. Patrick's Cathedral and learned about the history of the church, the neighborhood, and the people who live there. We moved to the area just a few weeks ago and we were excited to take a tour featuring one of our favorite things (food). We learned a ton... More

The Cranberry Women's Club chose Burgh Bits and Bites Food Tour as one of their social events of the year and we visited Little Italy in Bloomfield. The group totaled 25 and included spouses, singles, daughters and son-in-laws. We were separated into two groups and our tour guides, Sylvia and Richard were both excellent. Their knowledge of the area and... More
