It isn't a thrill ride, so don't be disappointed that it isn't a long ride, but it is a fun ride with beautiful views of downtown Pittsburgh. Seniors ride free after showing Medicare card. The old cars that carry you up and down are part...More

Why not take the time and minor expense to see some gorgeous views of Pittsburgh. These are some of the best views without spending a wad of money on a tour. Hey, it's a nice ride up the incline then once there take a few...More

We took the incline up to do some early morning jogging. The incline is incredible especially at sunrise. Smooth, efficient and lots of fun.

A group of family members all toured the incline and really enjoyed the unique ride and view of Pittsburg. Really interesting and nearby to other activities. Highly recommend.

Pittsburgh is a beautiful city, but I am not a history buff enough to want to pay $5 to go up and down this old cable car incline. FYI, they require fare in exact change, cash only. The people working there were short with everyone...More

Wonderful way to see city from above. Offered great views of downtown, the Point, the rivers and Heinz Field. Plus it's a super fun attraction for young children.

I have been riding the Duquesne Incline since I was a little girl. But it's been most fun to take visitors to ride! It would be nice, since it is an historic landmark, if they had a narrator or someone to share facts about the...More

We headed to the incline towards sunset-to give the kids a unique experience and view of the city. Unfortunately the GPS guided us all the was to the top rather than the bottom. That, combined with multiple road and bridge closures in downtown Pittsburgh without...More

The Incline has loads of history but it would be nice if there was a narrator to share the Incline's story. There are newspaper clippings on the wall but they are tough to read with the crowd waiting in line.

We parked in the shopping center parking lot. It was very convenient. I don't remember that the parking cost very much. Hope that helps.

It's mostly residential at the top, and my recollection is that parking might be limited. Park in the lot at the bottom, ride up, exit the station and turn to your right. Walk about a quarter mile and there is a phenomenal... More
