A great way to see the skyline of Pittsburgh and the rivers around it. The incline overlooks the stadium complex and river. At the top there are places to eat and down the road other viewing areas. The cars run late and the view at night is breathtaking. There is an area where people can see the gears and cables... More

Great trip to the top of the incline - the view was amazing and able to see where all 3 rivers come together. The viewing area at the top is rather small so going early is recommended. Parking is by the hour at the bottom of the incline ($5 for 2 hours) which was plenty of time to enjoy the... More

Put on your must do list. Locals ride this incline to and from work every day. Met a few friendly folks.

Have have to take the ride from Station Square up to the top of Mt Washington. It is super steep so be ready. The views of the city from the top are amazing no matter what time of day. No matter if you are a kid or adult, you'll enjoy!

There aren't many cities in the United States that have working inclines anymore, but Pittsburgh is lucky enough to have two. The experience is not like an enclosed escalator. It's more like a Ferris wheel that just goes straight up and down. The view at the top is incredible no matter what time of day or what the weather is... More

This is fun for all ages, and you get a great view of the city and rivers... the attendants running the include were very informative and helpful. I picked a friend up from Auburn Alabama and they loved it. We later had some drinks and tappas at the top at a local restaurant.

Based on the view from the top this should be a 5. The few things that dropped my rating were a) Pay to park at the bottom then climb several flights of stairs, so unless I missed something, this is not a handicapped (i.e. wheelchair) accessible attraction. Possibly you could get on at the top and ride down and back... More

Don't think about how old it is, just enjoy the ride to the top and the view once you get off. Great view of the city and Heinz Field from the top.

We enjoyed riding down the Incline included in the Molly's Trolley tour. Returned later to enjoy a round trip evening Incline ride. City skyline, bridges, rivers & Point State Park revealed in glorious post card views. Duquesne Incline: historic , fun and costs less than most Espresso /Lattes orders! Viewing deck and history at the station on Mt Washington.
