My boyfriend and I came here during our weekend in Pittsburgh. This museum is so full of interesting pieces of Pittsburgh. My favorite part was the sports museum. I would definitely recommend visiting this place if you’re in the city!

Needed to kill some time and this was a good place to learn about Western PA history. Kids liked the sports halls and the Heinz Food sections.

Center has six floors of exhibitions of Western Pa history including the history of the H J Heinz Company; the sports museum has Pittsburgh artifacts from all of the local sports teams; there are hands-on interactive exhibits and audio-visual programs; must see for sports lovers

A place where a lot of history is kept. 6 floors full of many things to see and where it is very much the sport that for years Pittsburgh has been highlighted. There's everything to see.

Very pleasantly surprised on the quality and size of this museum. Great displays on the region's history in the early American conflicts, local businesses and sports teams.

Heinz exhibit and some of the industrial revolution is interesting; sports could probably be cut back to...More

At least 2 but you could easily spend up to 5 browsing the exhibits. If you are coming for an event like Italian Day or other special days I would expect to spend at least 3hours.
