We enjoyed the tour of the Frick mansion. Our docent was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and was able to answer all questions. We also liked the collection of some of the earliest automobiles, including a number of foreign vehicles we'd never heard of. But the...More

With our rental car, we drove about 30 minutes from downtown and toured the 2 rooms of Frick art. Yawn...if you've been to the Frick in NYC. However, the grounds are amazingly beautiful. We also enjoy dining under a covered awning onsite. I might not...More

The entire experience is very subdued and sublime and relaxing. No crowds, no tickets no hassles. Just a good view of renaissance art in a historical house along with a remarkable collection of carriages and cars. Beautifully tended grounds and a cute little café.

After visiting the Frick in NYC I was hoping for the same experience. Excellent collection but limited. Along with the museum, the garage with the classic cars was amazing.
