As this was my first visit to Pittsburgh I was told by many to check out Mount Washington for the views and I am SO glad I did. The weather was perfect and the views were incredible. So cool to see all the bridges and skyline/architecture the city has to offer. We took the incline up and would recommend that... More

Probably one of the most touristy things you can do, but worth it. Views are spectacular! The "cable car" experience up the hill is neat and inexpensive ($3.75 return). As previously mentioned, amazing view and picture opportunities. Definitely a great way to start your trip (unfortunately we were only in Pittsburgh for a day, but we would love to go... More

Visited Pittsburgh for the first time, was directed to take the incline up to Mt Washington. Nostalgic way to travel up the mountain. Walked along the main street enjoyed the view and had drinks at The Summit. Enjoyed a relaxing time spent having drinks and appetizers. I would recommend a few hours only and then Uber off to another location... More

We went at night, briefly enjoyed the view, took a nice panoramic picture which I still look back on and admire. What a great site to see at night. The coffee shops were all closed when we went as it was too late at night, so we didn't stay all that long.

If you're driving around Pittsburgh and you aren't careful and take the wrong bridge, you'll end up at the top of Mount Washington before you know it. Only 5-10 minutes up the hill, you can stop at the top of the Duquesne or Monongahela Inclines (or take the cog rail up instead) and stand on a platform to view Pittsburgh's... More

This is a must-see when showing friends and family around Pittsburgh! I'm a big fan of skylines and Pittsburgh's never fails to disappoint! It can be cold so dress warmly. You pay $5 for a round trip! Take the incline up. Go to the lookout! Take some beautiful pictures... Walk around Mt. Washington if the weather is nice! (insider secret:... More

Must beautiful view of downtown, the rivers and the many bridges. We were there in February and it was COLD but the trip up the mountain was fun and well worth it even in the cold. Will go back in the spring or summer.

Obviously visiting in the colder months you need to bundle up but it still gives you the gorgeous view of our city. During the summer months there are lots of people walking and sitting around enjoying the company of others and there are some restaurants and bars hidden off the main road that are cool to visit and have great...
