Station Square used to have many great shops but now it seems like a lot have closed. It’s still fun to walk around and there’s a lot of parking available. Hooligans and Melting Pot are still here. An ok tourist stop.

There are bunches of restaurants. The rate is on the internet is higher than I would say. I was expecting to have some shopping, but it was old and few stores.

This is a different kind of place. Not really a mall, not exactly a tourist attraction but a place a lot of tourists will end up. The enclosed area has a strange design and movement ways and contains stores, specialty shops, and food places, and...More

This nice area is obviously designed with the tourist in mind. Neat things to see, medium to expensive eateries, a cool fountain that sprays to the music and duck and paddle boat tours. The best tour is the paddle boats. They take you farther and...More

Go here at night. The fountain is computer controlled and changes with the music and lights. You can sit for hours. Fun to watch children go ga ga while looking at it. Plenty of restaurants surround it. Have a drink at the Hard Rock Cafe...More

We were in Pittsburgh for a Steelers game, it was late Saturday afternoon and we were looking for something to do, some place to watch a couple of college football games. We saw a flyer for Station Square and walked there from downtown. It was...More

Stayed ere this past week. Lots to do and places to eat. Walking distance to downtown over the bridges. Easy access to the stadium by water taxi.

Station square is comprised of the 1900's ornate/grandly restored RR station and the newer shops with a range of dining options. Adajant to the Just Ducky tours, the Gateway Clipper fleet, Mount Washington, an incline, and nice to walk about the area and take in...More

We did the Just Ducky Tour leaving from here and afterwards grabbed drinks and apps at Joe's. There was a lighted water show in the fountain outside that was pretty cool to watch as well. (Outside of Joe's and Hard Rock) Walked along the river...More

Very unique place with great views of the river and city. I have been here several times. Don't think I will be back to eat at the Union Square restaurant. Worst claim chowder I have ever had. Shrimp Caesar salad was just as bad.

According to their website they occur daily from 9 am until closing. Although we did not see it I would suggest checking their website.

Don't forget Uber. Usually pick you up in 5 minutes, and costs less than a taxi. They do have a permit at PIT. I don't think Lyft does.
