A fun, quick way to see the sights of Pittsburgh. The view from the top was excellent and it was an interesting and different public transit experience.

This was a great experience. Loved the observation deck and found it fascinating when we went below deck to see that the original working parts are still there and working today.

This incline is fun. it is historic and the view up top is awesome. You can view downtown Pittsburgh, the many bridges over the rivers and the Heinz Stadium. There are some lovely shops and restaurants up top in Mt.Wasgington too. You can also walk...More

fun seeing the view from both inclines and this one is just a short ride from the bars and restaurants on Carson St, where choice is hard to make

Round trip was $3.50. You buy the transit ticket at the bottom; one trip with a transfer gets you up and back. The view from the top at night is beautiful!

Great experience and worth the price. Great views at the top and the ride was an experience. The oldest incline in Pittsburgh

When you enter the station you will purchase your ticket from a machine. Read the directions about children; you will pay for them at the top when you exit. It is a slow ride up, so you have plenty of time to take pictures.

If you are headed to Mt Washington, take the incline. Imagine you just completed a shift at a steel mill and you are heading back home for dinner, because that's what the incline was used for back in its heyday.

Historic old incline (funicular railway) that takes you from the riverside across from downtown to the top of the high and steep Mt. Washington cliff with an excellent view of the city in many directions. A whole lot less nerve-wracking than driving to the top....More

Guess this is iconic Pittsburgh. It was $3.50 round trip, great views from the top and good restaurants about a mile down. Truly get a feel for when the rivers were the hub of activity in the late 1800's. We just walked across the bridge...More

If you are planning on using the subways or busses, you can buy a day pass at the machine, also. It was $7 last time I went and you can ride the inclines and busses and subways all you want that day. You will love the... More
