Our grandchildren love this museum. We go every time they visit. We were so fortunate this June, because the new exhibit in the sports center was open, and even a long line did not discourage them. I recommend this for every one.

My friends and I went to one of those 21+ nights over the summer. Most of the usual attractions were open, but we realized the centers are significantly less fun than we remembered, even with alcohol. Also the train thing wasn't open and that's my...More

There many so much interesting, interactive, tactile exhibits -- incredible! Well worth the visit and tickets! But the laser show to Queen hit songs...a wee bit sensory overload...

I was finally able to visit the Miniature Railroad & Viilage this year. Have tried for several years but always visited the Science Center when the railroad and village was shut down for the annual repair & upgrade. Well worth the wait. Fantastic display. Spent...More

As the title says, Great for Kids, IF you can afford the admission price (check pricing before heading off to the museum to prevent cardiac arrest at the ticket booth). The museum has many hands on displays geared towards kids, not so much so for...More

I practically lived at The Carnegie Museum as a kid, when I went there last year it made me wish I was a kid all over again. They remodeled the dinosaur exhibit since I had been there previous, it really is something special now. Parking...More

Great asset to the community. Loved the gift shop. The place had kids playing with all the interactive toys, it was vibrant.

A must see with kids. I thought this was one of the better science museums I've ever been too. The layout was very friendly. Loved the ramps to each floor making it stroller accessible but also easier for little legs to manage (opposed to stairs...More

Our entire family loved the Carnegie Science Center! We especially loved the Robots exhibit (my personal favorite was playing air hockey against a robot). The space exhibit that extended up throughout the four floors was a little boring. The model train exhibit was huge and...More

We didn't see a ton of parking and ended up meter parking on the street. May be easier to just call and ask. It is located right on Pitts campus

Yes it is $150 per year, and that includes admission to not only the Carnegie Museum, but also the Science Center and the Warhol museum, also discount parking .....its a very good deal.
