Great view

This a great way to get to PNC Park and it has a good view of the city. During game days, the bridge is closed to cars and only pedestrians can cross the bridge.

This bridge was right outside my hotel room, and my views of it on a daily basis didn't get old. Set with PNC Park as the backdrop, the yellow-gold coloring of the bridge fit in with the nostalgic feel of the tri-river city.

After sitting in the car for the 5 hour drive to Pittsburgh, one of the first things we did when we arrived in Pittsburgh was head over to Sixth Street Bridge to stretch and walk. I'd recommend walking across the bridge and then taking the steps on the side to head down under the bridge and along the path. Walking... More

The easiest way to get from sports stadiums and the city of Pittsburgh. Easy walk in either direction to see steelers or pirates play and downtown Pittsburgh.

One of the many nice bridges crossing the rivers of Pittsburgh. It's lit nicely at night and has a bike lane AND a pedestrian sidewalk. It's worth a walk out onto it, especially at night, to have a look at the city.

It is a nice bridge to walk across, Pedestrian friendly and you are between the field and the theater district. Dining on both sides of the bridge. I liked the views, looking at all of the locks and of course Roberto plaque/info.

Was really looking forward to crossing the monumental bridge, but they are doing major work on it and the bridge is closed to all traffic... I hope we get back one day after the construction to do the walk...

Great view of PNC from the bridge and city. People are putting locks on it like the famous "love bridge" in Paris. Quite a variety of locks. The steps on the city side are in need of some repair.

Like to walk? This bridge is for you. Walking path safely away from traffic. On game nights the bridge is open only to pedestrian traffic. Get a great view of the ball park and the skyline. Look for the lovers locks all along the bridge railing. The bridge itself is a great example of form and function.
