We just moved to Pittsburgh and wanted to go snow tubing as a family. Seven Springs was a little too far for us to drive so we opted for Boyce Park. It's about 13 miles east of downtown Pittsburgh. It was a warm and sunny day (60 degrees!), and it couldn't have been more perfect. The snow machines were on... More

What a gem! Perfect for kids learning to ski and adults who want to ski with them for a few hours. Kids(5 and 8) were able to stay on bunny hill and keep riding the easy on/off carpet while we adults and 10 year old went on lift and slightly more challenging hill checking in every time or two down.... This ski resort is amazing for beginners. This is a small ski resort with 5 trail, but the price was unbeatable. My wife and I skied for 4 hours for less than the price of 1 in Seven springs. Don't get me wrong, there are better ski resorts. But if you are not planning to get into black diamond trails...... More

I took my 12 year old son and a couple friends here for an afternoon of snow tubing over the Christmas break. We didn't have to take a long drive to the mountains, and it was just the right size for them, since they had never gone before. The lodge was nice- they have a double sided fireplace for warming... Several weeks ago, my family members held our family reunion here. We followed directions per GPS which got us to the park. Family members were then able to direct us to our exact location. Though we parked at the bottom of the hill from where the pavilion was located, for those with difficulty walking, there was a way to park... More

I took my two kids, ages 10 and 13 for a day of skiing. It was a great place for them to learn, the slopes were big enough to be challenging but not too big to be intimidating. However, it was very unorganized. We waited in line for about an hour to get equipment. We were told They may be... More

Boyce Park Ski Area is a great place to take a group of teens for a day of skiing or snowboarding. Even though is was President's Day and it was more crowded than usual, the staff worked efficiently to keep the lines for lift tickets and rentals moving. Once on the slopes the lines again kept moving. Our group made... More

Just noticed that I could review you guys. Was there last year with some friends and it was blast!!! It's not as daunting as some of the bigger resorts especially for an ameteur. We had a wonderful time and thanks.

Great place for the family - newer snow making equipment, great prices and easy slopes. Not the most challenging place to ski but great prices and so close to town. Definitely recommend to sharpen skills or get out after work without spending a pile or driving far.
