I held my wedding reception here and the view was stupendous. For small affairs, you can't beat it. Inquire about renting out for special events, you would be surprised how affordable it is.

We visited Sunday at 350. They closed at 4. So we weren't really able to get a great look around the store. But the Pagoda itself is beautiful. Didn't get much info from the site itself. Found it online. Definitely worth checking out

Situated on the top of Mt. Penn, the Pagoda is Reading's most famous landmark, visible from many miles away (particularly at night, when it is lit up in red.) During the day, the Pagoda and Skyline Drive offer wonderful views of the city of Reading. At night... well... Skyline Drive is essentially Reading's "Lover's Lane"... minus the serial killers. The... More

There is always a great view of Reading from the Pagoda. The Pagoda is a landmark of Reading. It is said that Santa uses the Pagoda on his yearly voyage.

A nice place to visit in Reading Pa. Drive up the mountain to visit the Pagoda. Paths to enjoy outside and building is open to explore. You can drive along Skyline drive and see the city view, the Fire tower, and nature.

After a ride up the mountain you get to climb the 4-5 story staircase to the top observation room with 360 degree view of Reading and the surrounding area. A great vantage point for pictures and just to have a look around. Also, head up the road to the Mt. Penn Fire Tower. an old stone tower used as a... More

It is something to see and is the symbol used for Reading. Great historical building and very unique. Can see it in half an hour or less. It is safer to go in the daytime. Limited hours to go inside and there is a fee to go to the top of the building.

What a beautiful view of the city of Reading, Pa! A $1 donation person to walk up to the top observation floor is very nice. There is a small gift shop & cafe on the 1st floor. There are walking trails below the building, but because of the snow on the ground, we were unable to walk them. The building... More
