Local brewery which is about 100 or more years old. Had a nice tour of the brewery. It is small and has quaint details from way back when the Brewery was first opened. Interesting & informative. Tour guide was friendly & knowledgable. However one must...More

I've been on a bunch of brewery tours around the world. All of them will tell you how beer is made, show how it's bottled, and probably give you a sample. Straub, while a commercial producer, is still small and family owned. This makes a...More

No bells or whistles; it is just about the beer. The lager is great. Easy to find and everyone is very friendly. You pore your own beer from kegs and you can also open bottles of beer to sample as well. This is all free....More

Had a total of 5 different beers on tap. A few bottles of their seasonal beers as well to try out for free. Great place to visit with friends.

We stopped in here with friends. This is a brewery which looks untouched by time! They have an "eternal tap" where you can pop in and fill a plastic cup up to two times. Was definitely an interesting and fun "local culture" stop.

Saturdays are tough to get in for a tour. They work hard 5 days a week and want Saturday off. The store & sales are open but to get into the brewery give them a call, ask Mr. Brock the Pres. for assistance.
