I discovered this little art museum while wandering around Penn State University's campus back in February 2017. I had heard there was an art museum on the campus, but had never really looked for it before. I was pleasantly surprised on a snowy winter's day....More

Any concierge or citizen in State College will light up when the Palmer Museum is mentioned, and it is indeed a jewel. I enjoyed the collection of ancient pottery from Asia and Peru. As someone who 'gets' Picasso in all his stages, but has trouble...More

THE most eclectic and intriguing exhibit around. Never a disappointment! On my list of tops, this is #2 behind only the metropolitan.

we visited last week during family and friends. They had good collections and very knowledgable staffs. I enjoyed most of their religious painting.... like Louvre in a very miniature scale. 😁👍

I regret that I did not visit the Palmer Museum while a student at PSU. Admission is free, and there are some wonderful exhibits. The space is quiet and inviting. There is a small gift shop as well.
