The Amish Village is an authentic look at today's Amish lifestyle. Located on 12 scenic acres, The Amish Village lets visitors experience an authentic Amish property, including a one-room schoolhouse, blacksmith shop, smokehouse market and more.

To begin an understanding of the Pennsylvania Dutch culture, The Amish Village provides a 25-minute guided farmhouse tour. A 90-minute back roads bus tour is also offered to take you off the beaten path, past working farms and along country roads where buggies roll along and farmers work their fields.

This location is about 45 minutes from the Harrisburg airport. You need a car to get there. The premium package tour has a tour of the house, the grounds and a van tour for 90 minutes for $28 each. The van tour was very good. Our van driver was very good and a local. We stopped by an Amish store... More

We had a great experience here! We took the Premium package. The guide on the tour bus was very polite and answered ALL of our questions. She explained everything in detail and made us feel comfortable during the trip.Same goes with the House-tour. Lancaster county is extremely beautiful, the landscapes are a feast to the eyes!I would definitely go back... More

What a great experience and value for money to sample the Amish way of life, we went on a Sunday and we saw lots of buggies on the road and gatherings. A great insight and thoroughly respect their way of life, they are so friendly waving as we went past. Totally recommend this to anyone and that's why it got... More

It was an amazing tour overall. First, we were running late for the schedule we'd gotten online. So I called and they arranged everything for us so we don't miss anything. All the staffs were friendly. Joe was very knowledgeable with regards to Amish culture. This was a very informative tour.

Was not cheap, but was fun, interesting presentation on the Amish. Some old time buildings, farm equipment, animals, and buggies. Lots of touristy stuff to purchase. All in all a quaint stop our our travels.

As you read in earlier reviews, the farm has been surrounded by stores but it still worth a visit. The tour was the best for us. The tour guide was knowledgeable and well acquainted with many of the Amish. There were a few stops with many things for tourists. This is not a bad thing since we are tourists and... More

This place is run by non-Amish people and from the very beginning (in the gift shop) you already feel like in a Disneyland-like type of place. They take you to different rooms of a typical Amish... A very educational experience, we took the full package - if possible do the house tour before the bus trip as it gives you lots of info. The bus tour was exceptional providing lot s of insight into how the Amish live in the current day. All guides we met were exceptional
