As you enter PA from NJ on Rt. 80 this center offers professional advice for tourism. The staff is very knowledgeable and their supply of brochures is extensive!

This was our first visit to the Pocono Mountains and when my husband and I tried to get a couple questions answered, the attendant on duty was very short and condescending. We didn't let her ruin our day and enjoyed the beautiful area in spite of her. LOL

Lori, I am sorry to hear that you didn't have the best experience with our staff when you stopped in the visitor center for information. I will pass this along to the visitor center staff manager. We greatly appreciate your feedback, it will help us to teach our staff to be friendlier to our future visitors. I'm glad to hear... More

The staff person was helpful. She seemed busy. It is located in a large house. But the visitors bureau consisted of a small room (bedroom sized) with brochures on the walls. The Poconos brochures were along one wall. Thats it. The other walls consisted of other areas around PA. When we have been to other visitor bureaus (i.d. Gettysburg, Sandusky,... More

The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau has 2 welcome centers and provides guests with information about the area. The staff is friendly and helpful and the PMVB is a reason as to why tourism in the area is successful. They do a GREAT job.

The Pocono mountain area was a great place to visit for skiing or just relaxing at a chalet. The scenery is outstanding, shopping close by in Tannerville, and overall the people are friendly and knowledgeable.

Camelback was great. There are many restaurants nearby to please any appetite. We enjoyed the Crossing Outlets also. There is something for everyone to do.

The Pocono mountain area is beautiful and has a lot to offer year round. The roads were good and well maintained. Our only complaint is that attractions are not well marked. Signs need to be posted in advance and better able to see from the road. Some of the falls that we went to see were not well posted.

We stopped in here to get some local information on the area and some ideas on what to do while we visited the Pocono’s. The girl at the desk was very helpful and directed us to Big Pocono State Park. It was only a few miles away and was absolutely beautiful. We would never have thought to visit it without... More

I am not overly impressed by the vacation bureau. lacking in people skills and friendliness. Not easy to access their office.. Closed on weekends, when visitors want to meet with a live person. No satellite offices open to public. I would not consider it an attraction.
