Great views of the Delaware River and surounding landscape

Great views of the Delaware River and surrounding landscapes especially during Fall foliage. Easy to access and an elevator to the top.

We went here for the first time this summer. Absolutely beautiful...you can see all of Bucks County. The elevator wasn't working when we went, but my mom did okay. Just be aware of that or call ahead if you have someone who can't walk all of those steps.

My trip to Bowman's Hill Tower was breathtaking...and not just because of the staircase to get to the top! This attraction is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. From the main road, I followed a narrow, steep road to the top of the mountain. The person in the office there was very kind and friendly. I... More

Nice short detour along the way from Washington’s Crossing State Park to New Hope. Great views from the top of the tower. The elevator is out, but there aren’t that many steps to climb. Informative staff provided information about the tower hours and future sunset openings.

Went in early November on crystal clear day. The elevator was broken but didn't mind climbing the stairs. The last 25 steps were challenging and if you are claustrophobic it could be difficult. If the elevator was working, you'd still have to climb these last 25 challenging steps. There were seniors that needed to stop and rest along the way... More

When we went the elevator was out of order, so we walked all the stairs up. If you have a hard time climbing stairs, you might not be able to do it. If the elevator works, then once you get off there are about 23 stairs to climb to the top, they are narrow and small, but well worth it.... More

Be sure to add this gem to your day. It is a little out of the way but worth it. The view from the top of the tower is awsome. Be sure to visit during fall colors.

The elevator was out when we were there (hence the 4 rating), and for the couch potatoes and the elderly, this may be a bit too much of a climb. I recommend making the 1.5 mile hike through the wildflower preserve to the tower -- It's not an easy hike, as the last half is quite steep. You can also... More

It was fun to climb the tower and the view was beautiful. However, I would have liked a pamphlet or info to read about it and I felt $6 per person was a lot for such a simple 5 minute visit.

Lovely view on a lovely day. Already posted this on the Washington Crossing Park site, but make sure that you call in advance to make sure the tower is open if going on a holiday. It was not open on Columbus Day and there wasn't any indication it would be closed on the website.
