What a lovely surprise we found in this location. The paths are long enough to get good exercise for a five year old, the surroundings are beautiful, and there are all kinds of neat features along the way. Definitely worth a visit!

This is a garden worth traveling out of your way for. It is lovely in three season, uses natural materials for accessories (fencing, trellises), has charming ruins, paths that go in many directions, beautifully laid out gardens, and tranquility.

Give yourself around 3 hours to browse all the garden areas. Extremely well maintained and so peaceful. We wish we had brought books so we could sit and enjoy the quiet.

No. But I'd wear comfortable walking shoes. There is a paved path, it is a good 1-2 mile walk around property.
