My husband and I just wanted to get away from it all, and there were only two parks in the state park system that had a dog friendly cabin available. Because we had never been here, we booked the one in Hills Creek. The cabin that we had was nice and clean and comfortable (well the bed could have been... More

I really loved this State Park. It is perfect for dog lovers! The only problem is there are a lot of road closures right now due to construction in the park so you can't travel past the cabins.

This short and easy hike was a pleasant break from my auto touring last July. East walking and about two hours leaving time for pondering life and enjoying the views. Lake Side Trail - 3 miles - Beginning at the entrance to the camping area this trail follows the lake shore in a westerly direction for about one mile, finally... More

This is a nice hidden jem outside of Wellsboro, Pa. The staff at the visitor center are friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the modern cabins and I was pleasantly surprised at how clean well kept they were.

Although it rained a lot, we made the best of it. Took another family along camping and the kids loved it along with the father, I think they are hooked on this park

Quiet, small, older park. Been there forever. Hasn't changed much over the years. guess you would call it 'Home-Town-Country'..... fishing, boating, swimming (in lake), camping, picinicing it is there. they do hold some special events thru the summer and fall.

Campground is very nice and roomy. Shower house was very nice. Drive to beach and playground since we were quite a ways away. Not many full hook up sites so we used dump station on way out. Lake is very nice with rental kayaks and canoes available.

Rented kayaks from the concession stand. Enjoyed our paddle. Water a bit funky but fine for paddling.

Have been swimming at the lake since my children were little, and now I take my teenage grandchildren. It remains a nice free place to swim. The main difference over the years is the removal of any lifeguard. The sand beach is at the bottom of a large grassy hill. The top has a changing building with cold water showers... More

What a lovely, well-managed, and peaceful place! Everything we liked was there and there was plenty of room. Very highly recommended.
