We visited with my son (4 yrs old) because he is such an animal lover. The office/store where you pay was very dirty and smelled of cat litter that needed to be changed a week ago. We walked through and of course loved the animals but the place itself seemed unkept and dirty. It would be a nice place if... More

I saw no signs of life at 9:00 am and at noon on a brilliant Wednesday day. A fellow on a bike told me a court order had forced it to close because the animals were being mistreated. Good riddance, he said.

I have gone here several times. I enjoy feeding the deer. Howere, most animals have cages that are much too small with no entertainment. It is just concrete cages. They have finally closed the zoo for good.

This place should be closed. It is smelly, and I worry about the animals. There are cats everywhere. How can it be healthy to serve food here? Gross.

This miserable place has finally been closed due to a court order. A recent lawsuit claimed the treatment of the animals bordered on abuse and negligence. We agree. The court said the animals would be housed in various zoos throughout the area. The fact that the owners haven't even updated their website says all you need to know about them.... More

After seeing this attraction listed under the "what to do" near PA Grand Canyon, we decided to go. After a two hour trip, we found out it had been closed a while ago - closed for good!!! I really wish the website would have updated their site so we wouldn't have wasted 4 hours in our day. Very disappointed

Brought my kids here on a pre school field trip. Was horrified to see just how small of an area most animals had to live in. Where's PETA ???

Awful treatment of animals. In my mind, it's wrong to keep wild animals like black bears in these small cages. The animals look depressed and barely move.

Awful. How this place is still operational is a mystery to me. The stench of cat urine when you walk through their gift shop to get to the main park is enough to stop you in your tracks. The animals are kept in cages that are way too small and many of them are laying in their own feces. The... More

When we first got to Animaland I thought that it looked like a really cute place. The man behind the counter, who I believe is the owner, was very friendly and polite. The tickets were very reasonable priced at $8.00 per person and I bought two bags of food at $1.00 each. When you first walk into the park you... More
