Don't miss Boulder Field! The kids and adults love it here. Nothing like we've ever seen. My friends thought the photos were photoshopped!

Tent camping got a bit interesting when a bear wandered into the campground where we were camping. Although the bear did not come close to our site, it was a bit unsettling to see and hear the park rangers trying to chase this fella away...More

Beautiful park, great scenery and hike. Nice waterfalls, tho perhaps manmade (because of the dams). But, it's worth going to!

Boulder Field has to be seen to be believed. Hikes are plentiful and loops can be self-designed easily. Just wish trail designations/trail heads/indicators along trails were a little clearer. Also Park office closed on weekends after third weekend in Oct. Not stocked w/enough trail maps...More

We went camping for the weekend. A standard no electricity camp site with "modern" showers and bathroom. Site was very good. There's a picnic table in good condition, fire ring and a pole to hang a lantern (which is located too far IMHO. Showers and...More

Boulder Field is one of those amazing places that just puts you in awe of what wonders our Earth contains. There's no place like it that I know of. Great for the whole family -- kids love climbing around on the rocks.

Sure! We camped there for a week. We grilled at our campsite and saw others grilling by other places where there are picnic tables. You will really enjoy Hickory Run State Park.

I have never seen pay showers in PA state parks. However, you may need to wait as they're sometimes in short supply.

No. Not right here. This is one thing making it such an interesting spot. Its a 'lake' of rocks! We have dug down only to find more rocks. Try the Delaware River for some great canoe and kayaking!
