We have been to many caverns in different states and this was one of the best. It's a very natural cave with simple lighting...not commercial, it speaks for itself with its beauty. Our tour guide Skylar was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the cavern....More

I first visited the cave in the summer of 2013, and then stayed in one the of cabins August 2014 with my cousin and her son. The cabin was fine when we were there. It had everything you could hope for, and was as clean...More

Only if you are truly daring should you stay in the cabins at the cave. They were extremely dirty and full of dead bugs, spider webs and a shower full of mold. Oh and you never shower alone either a spider or spricket would always...More

We visited Saturday as a stop on our way home from our main vacation destination in Slippery Rock, PA. We're cave enthusiasts (although not to the point of wanting to explore rough caves - neither of us is that athletic), and have visited most of...More

Some interesting cave formations, many still in the process of growing. Walking tour not overly long in the 42-48* underground. Do not forget to bring a jacket as it really is quite chilly. Our entry fee was discounted to group rates with 8 of us....More

This review is more about the campsite area. We are repeat visitors with our family and friends. We toured the cave before also though. We love having the convenience store and game room accessible. Everything could use updating but that doesn't keep us from returning....More

Wound up with a quite small group, which is great for seeing everything and asking questions. The cave is sited in a small valley in the midst of a campground. The entrance is visible from the parking area and not covered by a building which...More

Wow! What a spectacular experience! The Woodward Cave is something everyone should check out if they are in town! Only 11.00 per person for an hour tour! Very reasonable! Our delightful, well knowledge tour guide May, made our experience pleasant and educational! Highly recommended!

Awesome cave. Visited Penns Cave same day and though both were very different we really liked Woodward. Located in very rural area which we liked it's a cave formed by a stream which is now diverted away. Large rooms, neat features.
