I've been coming here since I was a child and love the art and gardens here. It's quirky and fun, and something different. My 16 year old son was bored, but I recommend for little kids and grownups.

I first visited in 1968 when the umbrella factory opened and going back takes me back to that time. I love the variety of things to look at and do here. Thank you for keeping the doors open and the memories alive!

I used to love this place. Our last visit was almost 9 years ago. It has lots of eclectic gifts and was fun to browse. We toured all of the shops and honestly, there just wasn't that much. The employees seemed annoyed we were bothering...More

Seemed like just another tourist trap. There were a few animals and the Bamboo maze was neat. But seemed like every little shop sold the same hippy stuff that was cool in the 1960s. Would have loved to see some local art/crafts for sale. Looked...More

We have been coming for years, seems like they've upgraded in the last couple of years, it was getting a little run down. Love the Small Ax (great jewelry ) the gardens. Animal feeding fun for kids. A great place to poke around

When you arrive at the Fantastic Umbrella Factory, it is like you've been transported to another time (late sixties - early seventies) and place (Woodstock). If you like incense, t-shirts, pottery, plants and the eclectic, this is the place for you! The garden areas are...More

The Cafe has unexpectedly good food! There were 5 of us and we were all very satisfied with our lunches. Burrito, Rich Reuben, Vegetable Hummus Wrap and another were all delicious. The Umbrella Factory itself has changed little since I first visited 20+ years ago....More

This unusual and eclectic collection of shops is an interesting destination for people of all ages and many interests. In addition to shops, there's a garden where you can purchase a wide variety of plants, some quite unusual, and beautiful planters. The shops are small,...More

Spent nearly 3, and $100 plus! We haven't been in a couple of years. We would go frequently, but that was when the old falling down building near the antique car was there and occupied. It has since been torn down. We were really impressed...More

There really is no good answer! There is a sign on the property that pretty much says there's no good reason!
