Took a short drive up from mystic for a day at the beach and were not disappointed. Beach was clean and the people were pleasant. Great day at the beach.

We visited this beach almost accidentally while on a drive from Mystic,CT. We arrived after 5 and there was no charge to park. The beach was very clean and had picnic areas and modern facilities. Wish we could have spent more time there!

We visit this area quite a bit since we live in Massachusetts. There really aren't many beaches close by, mostly lakes. Lately though, this beach has become way over populated and filthy. Trash cans have been taken away even though upon entering, the parking attendant,...More

All I can say is you cannot beat RI beaches. Situated at the convergence of the ocean at Long Island Sound and Narragansett Bay it is orders of magnitude nicer than the 'Joisey shores".
