Nice family beach. Clean with plenty of life guards. Small waves so the water isn't so rough for the little ones. Definately a must see beach if you have small children.

If you travel to Narragansett, Roger Wheeler Beach is a great choice over Scarborough Beach even though there is a small entry fee (RI residents $6 & non-residents $12).

This place is great! Awesome spot for families and for smaller kids. The waves here are small to non-existent.

Ended up stopping here on a late Sunday afternoon. Must have picked the right day because they didn't charge for parking. Wonderful beach and the staff and facilities were excellent. Didn't get to eat but the concession looked nice with many food/drink options.

We had a beautiful day. It was fun even when packed out. The facilities were very nice. Nice playground. Wheelchairs for beach are available to those who need them - so accessible.
