Peaceful afternoon.

This was a very nice park. Nice to spend some quiet time. Husband isn't very mobile but we manage to get around and found a bench to sit and enjoy the sights.

be very careful if you go into the beach water since there are terrible pieces of cement that anyone can trip on and hurt themselves after falling on them. often the beach is not safe enough to go in and there are often signs saying beach is not open due to pollution . there is a nice area for kids... I love the beach. As beaches go, this would not be my favorite, but take a walk on the beach, or sit on a bench and enjoy the water view, I recommend it. We like to get some Iggy's, open the windows of the car and just enjoy the serenity of the area.

Our last day in Warwick. We found this place and are glad we did. What a gem.It was a quiet and peaceful place. My wife and I enjoyed just sitting and listening to the waves and seagulls. Don't miss this place.

Views of Providence River and Providence skyline to the north, and Narraganset Bay, including the Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge and the Clairborne Pell Newport Bridge, to the south. And a wonderful view of the Conimicut Shoals Lighthouse. Walk out on the sandbar at low tide. Benches, park, and playground nearby. Not sure if it was because of being a Sunday, or... More

If you are in the area, stop here for a walk on the beach. If the tide is out, you can walk out on the sandbar toward the Conimicut lighthouse. Be sure not to do so if the tide is coming in as there have been some drownings. The point offers views North toward downtown Providence and South toward Prudence... More

Louis and I went to Conimicut Point Park on Saturday afternoon. Address: Point Avenue Warwick, Rhode Island 02889. This is a combination of a park and beach area. There are benches for people to sit on and also picnic tables. A playground for the children. Plenty of free parking and a bathroom located in the park area. This is a... More

Great place to stop and read and sit among the benches facing the water. On low tide, you can walk the sandbar into the water. Be careful for the tide though, as it comes in quick. Great place to sit and read.

These beaches are not the best for swimming, but this is a wonderful; spot for viewing pieces of all of Narragansett Bay. North views include the city of Providence at the top of the Bay, and south views include both the bridges and the islands in the southern parts of the Bay. Across the bar are the communities of Barrington,... More

Great access with free parking. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The shore is pretty rocky so walk carefully. Walk about 15 feet into the ocean and it's a nice sandy bottom. You can walk out a long way before it's even over waist deep. It also provides a great view of the lighthouse.
