The main shopping area of Warwick is the Apponaug Village. It’s small. Not much to see but well worth a stroll

a nice small group of buildings a real small group

the feature is the City Hall and Library and the Chamber of Commerece. A chinese restaurant and maybe a few other places make up the village.
However everything is kept up to the Colonial period and so it is a New England village. Clean with parking in the back of city hall and on the street. Oh they do have a post office up the street.

I don't get it.

Village?? I've lived in the area most of my life and don't get what the attractions are here. They do a food truck night in the summer that is fun but those are everywhere now. There's nothing here that I find charming or unique. It's a street with some older buildings that are sort of interesting, like City Hall and the Post Office but I don't see any real New England charm that could attract tourists.

Pretty

I live very close by Apponaug Village and so am through the area frequently. If is a pretty New England spot but certainly NOT somewhere to go out of your way to see. A few shops and restaurants, Town Hall...

Small Village but Roads Under Construction
Dec 2016 • Couples
The re-construction of the roads in this area is phasing down. A new traffic pattern has been instituted. The shops and restaurants are still open but be prepared for delays. It will be a nicer area to walk once all of the construction is completed. There are some nice places to eat in the area.

Construction
Oct 2016 • Family
There is lots of construction there right now but all the businesses are open. I live near here and drive through it all the time but have only visited 1 place. There really is not much of Interest there.

collection of historic buildings
Jul 2016 • Family
History from the 17th through the 20th century. A few small restaurants and shops rapidly being taken over by contemporary suburban sprawl. Not all buildings are open for viewing.

Old Stomping Grounds
May 2015 • Family
Having moved away from Warwick (Apponaug area) over 20 years' ago, I was pleasantly surprised to see that at least some of it survived. I was especially happy to see that the ball field where my sons played Little League behind City Hall is still there. Many happy memories.
