The market was a one of a kind place with unique gifts. There are slot of different vendors there. From jewelry, soap, food, artist and toys of all kids. Great place to find gifts for every occasion! The vendors are cheerful and very helpful!

The daily, day market is very good. A very wide range of stalls with some very interesting goods. Many craft / hand made, though there are also 'tourist souvenirs ' stalls selling tat, often Chinese made (check the label) But it has a good buzz....More

So much to see and buy. Must walk the many stalls and visit with the local artists. Don't miss this area.

I guess we were expecting something else. What we found were 4 or 5 buildings filled with little stalls selling typical tourist trinkets. There were a few more artistic shops but most were filled with the typical tourist fare. Probably worth a quick walk through...More

Very crowded, but always a fun place to visit. We come here everytime we are in Charleston and we have been coming to Charleston for over 40 years.

The city market offers a wide range of local crafts that are set up in numerous boths. The markets itself is quite large. You can spend a lot of time and money here if so inclined. Prices are fair.

Colourful market with a number of interesting local vendors. Mmake time for a wander both during the day as well as the evening as the vendors change over at about 5pm.

We visit the market where has been a slaves market in the eighteen century. The market is lovely with many gift shops. The street is clean and people are friendly.

I am Not sure about that... didn't see any dogs on leashes in the market area. We live here in Charleston but I've never brought our dogs into the market.

Hi, there! If you are going to be at the market or that area for any length of time, I feel that the best place to park is in the nearby ramp. When heading south on Meeting Street, go a block past the market and turn left on... More
