This house was interesting- as was the stories of the family and the visualization of the slave quarters outside. Only the house remains, no slave quarters are on site, but they are marked as to where they were. If you are spending some time there,...More

We bought ticket in conjunction to the Charleston so saved a little. Very worthwhile as right across the street from the museum and a great example of how the upper upper crust lived in the 19th century. Well maintained.

Short tour of an unfinished renovation. Knowledgeable guide but a bit disappointed that we only got to see a handful of rooms. Should have visited the Calhoun House

Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. Willing to answer everyone's questions. Very reasonably priced as an add on to the Charleston Museum. Well furnished, and well preserved.

Stopped on our city tour, interesting old house with good guides. Worth seeing but not a must do as moderate in size and style.

The grand staircase is among the finest in the city, the furnishings are impressive as are the architectural details and accessories right down to the bell pull cords.

Compared to the Hayward-Washington House this 18093 home was boring. Many of the artifacts in the house were not from the house. The tour guide sounded like a recording.Nice home, but their are better home to tour.

Yes. We just walked there and paid for the house tour. It might be cheaper to combine it with another tour -
