Magnolia Plantation & Gardens is a beautiful place to visit! I really enjoyed the extra nature and slave to freedom tours that were offered. The tour guides were phenomenal! This place is a must see when in the Charleston area.

We visited this attraction today. Very nice overall. The gardens are beautiful and the tour guides very informative. A good education on part of southern history. Not to miss if in the area.

We love walking around the gardens at Magnolia. The bridges and scenes along the Ashley river are beautiful. The small petting zoo area is great for children. It's a great they have a place to grab a snack or small meal while spending time outdoors.

A truly beautiful place. Probably not a good place to bring a cat in the summer due to Alligator population

Didn’t have much time to fully explore and soak in all the history. Did go through the gardens. Beautiful in October. Would visit again to tour the house. Recommended.

I'd written up a full review and the Trip Advisor site didn't complete it, so now it's going to be a lazy review: There are various things you can visit on the grounds of the plantation, so choose what interests you. The gardens are the...More

Just wanted to give a shout out to Vicki. We met her in the History Room after we took the house tour. The house tour was too crowded and the tour guide had limited effectiveness with his claustrophobia and truncated information --script and answer to...More

We visited on November 24 and were not impressed by the flowers in bloom. However, there are beautiful areas (like bridges) that will be beautiful anytime you visit.
