All staff were knowledgeable and helpful. John went the extra mile for us with the Cabin tour and took us to the huge Live Oak on the property. We got the all inclusive pass and enjoyed all of the tours. If you've been through mansions...More

We stopped on our way from Charlestown to Savannah. The grounds were amazing and the house guide provided lots of great info. We also did a boat tour. Colby was both informative and funny. We saw lots of birds and alligators which really added to...More

I wasn't expecting Biltmore Estate quality from the gardens, but I guess I did assume they would be a little better kept and organized than they were. It was difficult to follow the path you were supposed to stay on while enjoying the walk. We...More

We went there in an Uber and no one would pick us up at the end! It was just horrible to be stranded in the middle of no where! Loved the trees and peacock but nothing else was really opened and it was scary to...More

This was a good family getaway. You pay a rate to get on to the plantation and a separate rate for each attraction on the plantation. There is too much to see comfortably in one day if you try to get a pas for everything....More

Lovely, amazing gardens and beautiful views of the Ashley river. The family house is interesting, if not the antebellum mansion one might expect.

What a great place to visit! Even though many of the plants were not in bloom it was still a great place to visit. We did the tours which cost extra but they were worthwhile. The slave houses and the dedication of these families to...More

The Magnolia Plantation is beautiful. I have not toured another plantation in Charleston, but Magnolia is everything you'd imagine in a southern plantation. We just bought the entrance ticket to the grounds and then the Nature Boat tour. Be sure to check groupon before you...More

This plantation is a wonderful place to visit for those who want the option of riding in a tram or boat rather than walking a great deal. The different tours were very informative and a hot day the trams were a welcome way to sightsee...More

Did the general admission and the house tour. Overall it was quite nice. The bamboo forest section was a cool surprise. I'm glad I bought the general admission on groupon though and we paid the extra for the house tour. The guide for the house...More

I didn't come across any uber cars, but they did have plenty of buses. Since you are staying downtown though definitely plan on walking to your nearby destinations because everything is close by. Hope that helps!
