This is a must visit in Charleston. This is one of the most beautiful churches I have seen. Well worth the time.

This church is less than twenty years younger than St Martin's in the Fields in London which inspired it. Simply one of the most gorgeous churches in America, and the epicenter of Old Charleston.

I have to walk into this church whenever I visit Charleston. I just love to look at the pews and organ and see the beauty of the craftsmanship so long ago. The cemetery is interesting with signers of the Declaration of Independence laid to rest...More

Charlston has so many beautiful buildings and is so rich in history. This building stood tall among many other historical buildings.

I always find it cool to stand in a building that other famous people in history stood in. It always gives me goosebumps. This church has alot of history behind it as well.

There are other churches I enjoyed more on my visit to Charleston, but St. Michael's shows the classic architecture of the period.

..to today's beautiful St. Michael's Church. Too often I happen upon a historic site such as St. Michael's and wish I had read its history before I visited it. If I had studied a little, I would have searched for pew #43, the Govenor's Pew,...More

We worshipped at this beautiful Anglican Church. Stayed for the tour and lucked out for an ice cream social afterwards. Loved it all! We also bought a sweet grass basket from an artisan across the road from St. Michaels.
