The cathedral was beautiful and the stain glass windows are breath taking the church is well kept up and very beautiful. The people there were very nice and told us a little bit about the church's history and the meaning behind various things.

I stopped in on Saturday afternoon before the scheduled Mass time to sit down and say a prayer. What a lovely and beautiful church, so happy it was open. I will definitely attend Mass here when I am not pressed for time. I am so...More

This cathedral was right beside where we stayed. We stopped by because of the sweet church bells we heard every hour. The exterior does not give an insight of the beauty within! We walked in and the stained glass is amazing! So serene and beautiful...More

If you are a lover of stained glass, do not pass this place without looking in and enjoying the views. I went on an overcast day, but there was still beauty in the windows.

Not a place I would have normally chosen to visit, I'm glad it was included in a trolley tour of Historic Charleston.

Lovely cathedral. White and light and bright interior contrasts with the dark brick exterior. I was surprised by the beauty .

Worth a short stop to appreciate the beauty and solemness. One of the cooler places to sit and reflect the day we visited.

It was hot, we walked for miles, all the other churches were closed. Saint John the Baptist was a welcome place to reflect. It reminded me of the churches in Europe. I was hoping to learn a little more about the church. All in all...More

We stopped into this lovely church when we were walking all over Charleston. We wandered through the beautiful inside with its big stained glass windows, beautiful altar and statues as well. It is worth stopping in on your tour around the city.
