Mermaid ballet!

It was the last weekend for the mermaids so had to take our toddler grandson. Was so great, just a beautiful mermaid so gracefully moving through the water. Like a swim ballet... read more

My wife,13 year old son and I loved this place-and it's our second visit! It is laid out well with lots of very large displays and exhibits allowing the sea life to be the star of the show! Very friendly staff and lots of opportunities to touch and see animals being highlighted by staff throughout-don't miss the areas out front... More

We enjoyed the aquarium with our teenagers, took us about an hour to experience the full aquarium. We had some extra time, so the kids went through again and had a great time. One of their favorites was the otters. We also did the Sea Turtle Hospital tour (additional cost) -- we all loved that. The volunteers were extremely knowledgeable,... More

Agree with many of the other reviews - on the small side, but lovely. And we didn't want something huge - needed an attraction that would take a couple hours, and this fit the bill. They do a great job of their exhibits. Also love the outdoor features and touch tanks. Thank you to other reviewers for mentioning the AAA... More

I was honestly surprised to find an aquarium in Charleston. It's well-maintained and has lots of exhibits to interest everyone. A good way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Being a resident of the Chicagoland area, I have fairly high standards for aquariums and this one was very small and disappointing. It did appear to be geared to small children and I don't know what the admission charge is for them but two adults at $25.00 a piece for a half hour visit seems overpriced.

It was the last weekend for the mermaids so had to take our toddler grandson. Was so great, just a beautiful mermaid so gracefully moving through the water. Like a swim ballet. Throngs of people there that day so was hard to move around but we were able to enjoy some of the tanks and exhibits. Not a large place... More

We went with our six year old daughter, she loved the diver show, and we also got to see the sharks being fed! It's not a very big aquarium but it does have some unique marine life.

I visited the final weekend of the Weekie Wachee Springs Swimming Mermaids. I have an annual aquarium membership and remembered the mermaids from my childhood. Also watched the stingray educational program and took some photos of the harbor and bridge before leaving. It was a beautiful day during spring break and lots of families with excited children were there. If... More
