A great place to visit and watch the children play in the water. You can also go out on the pier and enjoy a swing in one of the swings and look out over the water.

It is so enjoyable to watch children of all ages playing in the water fountains. The views are idyllic from every angle. Riley Waterfront Park is a sensational place to relax for free.

We had driven through this area during the day, then walked here in the evening after dinner and found children splashing in the fountains and lots of people enjoying the breeze on benches. It's a lovely space and was so nice to see it being...More

Waterfront Park is as close as you can get to the water in downtown Charleston. The pier goes out over the harbor, serving up great views. There's always a good chance of seeing dolphins, a cargo ship or cruise ship passing by. If you're not...More

Nice park, and great fun for kids running in the fountain , but not sure why it would be #1 attraction in this fabulous, historic city. Go for a stroll or run, swing in the park bench like swings, view the waterfront, and just relax....More

It is a nice little park, with two fountains that look more like pools for children. Nothing special.

This is a very nice waterfront park. The coastal breeze made it even pleasant for a hot, humid June day. Expect a time for relaxation in the midst of a touristy town (but a nice one at that).

Riley Waterfront Park is really a beautiful place. With fountains, the stunning oak trees and the waterfront views, this is a great stop on your Charleston visit. Kiddos can play in the fountains, adults can soak in some history and gorgeous scenery all in one...More

There are parking garages nearby. You will be very lucky to find a parking meter close by or have enough change. A quarter gets you 15 minutes. Enforced to 6:00 pm free on weekends.
