Charleston in a Nutshell is the ideal walking tour for sightseers who have a limited amount of time yet want to visit the "must-see" places. Learn about the city's history, architecture, and culture with historian Jeff Zimmerman. Jeff has been a licensed guide since 1997 and is an eighth generation carolinian. You will also go off the beaten path to seldom seen places that are off limits to bus and carriage tours. I also offer group and private tours upon request.

Jeff did an awesome job of giving historical and present day information about Charleston. He knew so much about the architecture, founding people, plants. We covered a lot of ground in this 2 hour tour. Highly recommended!

Jeff, the owners and tour guide did a great job! There were 3 of us on the tour and he set the tour to everyone’s pace. Jeff knows his Charleston history and can spin a good story. I would highly recommend it.
