If you are in Charleston and love cheese, stop in and soak up the atmosphere of this lovely cheese shop. We were given samples to taste as we navigated our selections, which were all delicious. The cheeses are helpfully organized to assist your tour through varieties. Watching one of the staff create a cheese board for a customer's party was... More

Really good cheeses, meats and wine. We had the medium cheese and meat plate. It has a variety of cheeses and meats along with dried fruits, nuts and several other yummy items. Before we left we purchased some meat and cheese by the pound. Would defiantly try it.

Stumbled in to this shop on Church last week. Bought a lunch sandwich and had to go back to buy the ingredients. The crack cheese is TDF. I think I have eaten it everyday since! I haven't been to the "north" store, but I have plans to visit soon. If you plan to visit our lovely city, stop by and... More

Selections of wine, cheese, fig products, crackers, select nuts and a refrigerator case of small beverages. Noticed they custom prepare platters for local orders. The sales lady, Pam or Patty, was exceptionally kind and gracious.

Great service. The sandwich was delicious. Fig pie was good as well. A very unique restaurant / market. I did not know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Very well done. Thank you.

Visiting this store is always on our to-do list! The employees are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the selection cannot be beat! I was a bit disappointed that they no longer carry "honeybee" Gouda, but the "euphoria" Gouda recommended by staff was excellent!

We're by no means foodies, and often feel intimidated and overwhelmed at shops like this with so many selections. But the staff were great, friendly, informative and not at all condescending. Sampled 4 or 5 cheeses before settling on 2 we really liked (Sofia and Mastorazio), as well as some salami (Sopresata with burgundy wine) and a baguette. And then... More

This place is tiny but refined and special. A little stuffy but oh so worth it. Don't feel intimidated . Bump yourself around the locals- pompous and prudish. Buy yourself little bits - from the fromagerie section and a little bit from the the charcuterie section (quarter pound) they will let you try everything before you purchase. You can add... More
